Shine as lights in the world

Collective Worship

Collective Worship is an integral part of life at Pulham. We celebrate Collective Worship every day and have developed the way we deliver Collective Worship quite extensively in response to children’s comments.

We use Christian Values for Life as a basis for Collective Worship and the values are embedded in the ethos of the school and in the day-to-day life of the school.

Collective Worship is delivered by different members of the school staff, by our Open the Book team and by groups of pupils.

All staff are welcome to attend Collective Worship and parents are invited to attend special services throughout the year.

Children are involved in and lead Collective Worship. Year 6 children lead Collective Worship with their circle group every week.

Pupils are involved in Community acts of Collective Worship themselves through taking part in Open the Book.

Different Christian festivals are celebrated throughout the year – Harvest Festival, Remembrance Sunday, Christmas and Easter.
