Clover
Mrs Gascoyne would like to welcome you all to Clover class.
We will also be beginning a story telling session in school following the principles of Tales toolkit. This is a new initiative in school and we are very excited to be developing this area of the curriculum.

Forest Schools
Clover Class will continue to take part in Forest School once a week on a Friday afternoon. They should bring a complete change of clothes with their waterproofs in a bag. During our daily outside time the children will be developing different ways of moving and exploring the trim trail.
Reading
You should encourage your child to read daily at home and they have a reading diary in which to record their progress. Please record a comment in these at least three times a week.
The diaries will be checked once per week on a Friday. Please continue to use your speed sounds books to practice your child’s sounds daily.
Please make sure you send your child’s speed sound book into school daily and look for the post-it which highlights which sounds to practice at home.
If you or anyone you know would be interested in coming into school to listen to children read, please send me an email as we would love to have you.
What your child needs in school
The children must have a named water bottle with them in school at all times which will be placed in a box in the classroom each morning. No other items need to be brought into school; this includes fidget toys, pencil cases, toys and stationery, unless adults in school request it or it is required to support additional needs.
Uniform
Please consult the school website or recent letter to see what is expected to be worn to school in terms of uniform and PE kit. Smart trainers may be worn if they are completely black. Please make sure your child brings a coat into school as the weather can still be very changeable.
Bags and Wellies
The children may bring in one bag, which must be a suitable size for hanging on their pegs, and a separate, named bag for their wellies (both of which must be named) to be stored on the welly rack.
If you have any questions at all about these or any other matters, please email me on kgascoyne@pulham.norfolk.sch.uk .
We are very excited for the half term ahead!
Kind regards,
Mrs. Gascoyne, Mrs. Stone, Mrs. Shreeve and Mrs. Grant.
